Our Story

Heritage Elementary opened to students, parents, and the community in 1998. Our mascot is the H.A.W.K. (Helping Hands, Always Responsible, Work and Play Respectfully, Kindness).  Our school colors are yellow and black. Heritage has a school enrollment of over 600 students each year. We serve Transitional Kindergarten - 6th Grade students. At Heritage, we are committed to our students, families, and our community. Go HAWKS!

We have many opportunities for parent involvement. Please contact our office at (559) 685-7360 to inquire about our PTO, SSC/ELAC, volunteer program, and many other opportunities available. We look forward to partnering with you in the education of our children.

Our Vision

Our vision at Heritage is to create a safe, encouraging, healthy atmosphere where children are able to reach their maximum potential both socially and academically. Our team approach to teaching builds upon high academic and behavioral standards and provides the foundation for accommodating individual, social, emotional, and educational needs. Parents, teachers, students, and staff work together to support personal growth in every student.

We have a variety of programs that allow for the growth and success of every child in our care, including before and after school care and a well-stocked library. Our highly qualified teachers and staff work hand in hand with the parents on our site council to ensure every student has the tools to succeed.
