Each feeder High School will do an AVID presentation for all TCSD 8th-grade students provided by the TJUHSD AVID Coordinators. Applications will be given out at the presentations. Students need to complete the first portion of the application and the second portion is a teacher recommendation form. Students need to bring the completed application form with them the evening they register for classes (recommendation form must be completed). The AVID interview will take place the evening of the registration and students will be notified as soon as their interview is over if they were accepted before they officially select their classes.
